Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 September 2026. This policy covers the RRUnited website and the RRUnited Android app, which are the same service.
Who we are
RRUnited supplies nails, pins and fasteners to trade customers. We are the controller of the information described below.
What we hold
You create an account by signing up with your name, phone number, delivery address and a 4-digit PIN you choose. That phone number and PIN are how you sign in afterwards. We hold:
- Your name — so orders and invoices can be addressed.
- Your phone number — how we confirm orders, and how you sign in.
- Your delivery address — so goods reach you.
- Your delivery coordinates — when our delivery rider or salesperson records the exact entrance or delivery point, so later visits can navigate to it.
- Your PIN — stored as a one-way hash, the same way a password would be. We cannot read it back, and if you forget it we can only reset it, not tell you what it was.
- Your order and invoice history — what you bought, when, and what it cost.
That is the whole list. We do not collect your email address, and we never see or store card or bank details — payment is arranged directly with us, outside the app.
The location permission is offered only to a signed-in delivery rider or salesperson, after they tap Record location at your delivery point. We store that point, the reported accuracy, when it was recorded and which staff member recorded it. We do not continuously track staff or customers, and we do not collect contacts, photos or files from the device.
Why we hold it
To take your order, deliver it, invoice it, let you see what you have ordered before, and keep the business records we are required to keep. We do not profile you, and we send no marketing.
Cookies
Two, both strictly necessary. One keeps your session while you use the site. One remembers that you are signed in, so you are not asked for your phone number every visit — it holds your customer number and a signature that stops it being altered, and nothing else. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is shared only with:
- our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database on our behalf;
- the courier or carrier delivering your order, which receives the name, address and phone number needed to deliver it;
- anyone we are legally required to give it to.
Some page styling and fonts load from third-party content networks (jsDelivr, jQuery and Google Fonts). Those providers see your IP address as part of serving the file, as they would on any site that uses them. They receive no account or order information.
When a delivery rider or salesperson taps Directions, the saved destination coordinate is opened in Google Maps so Google can provide the route. No customer name, phone number or order details are included in that link.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account details are kept while your account is open, and removed on request as set out below.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
To delete your account, sign in and use Delete your account. It takes effect immediately: your name, phone number, address, saved delivery coordinates, PIN and saved order templates are removed, and neither your phone number nor your PIN sign in afterwards. If you can no longer sign in, contact us using the details below and we will action it within 30 days.
Deleting your account also removes your name, phone number and address from any invoice raised to you. The orders and invoices themselves are kept — number, date, items and totals — because tax law requires us to hold those financial records, but they no longer identify you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your device and us is encrypted. Access to customer records is limited to our own staff.
Children
This is a trade supply service. It is not intended for, and not directed at, anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
